A futamot magabiztos fölénnyel megnyerő Charles Leclerc alatt is úgy ugrált a Ferrari, mintha csak kengurunak képzelte volna magát, a monacói pilóta azonban utólag elmondta, őt ez csak nagyon kis mértékben zavarta.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp class=\"p1\">„Nem tudom, hogy miért, de nem igazán vagyok érzékeny a pattogásra – nyilatkozta az FIA sajtótájékoztatóján. – A fedélzeti kamerás felvételeken nagyon rosszul néz ki, és természetesen én is érzem. A teljesítmény szempontjából viszont nem zavar túlságosan. Talán a 9-es kanyarban egy kicsit zavart, mert az egy nehéz kanyar, az autó pedig nagyon pattogott ott.”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp class=\"p1\">Leclerc a gyors balosra gondolt, amelybe a DRS zóna eltörlése után is 300 km\u002Fh fölötti tempóval ékeztek meg a pilóták. Vagy úgy is mondhatnám, hogy akkor sem tudtam volna gyorsabb lenni, ha nem pattog az autó. Az újraindításnál egy kicsit trükkös volt, mert az egyes kanyar előtt is pattogott, ilyenkor pedig az ember soha nem annyira magabiztos a féktávon. De minden jól alakult.
