Az elsőszámú feladat persze az volt, hogy olyan kerekeket helyezzenek a Red Bull 2012-es, bajnoki címet nyert autójára, az RB8-asra, amelyekkel a síneken is képes haladni. Mint a videóban elárulták, elképesztő szerencséje volt a tervezőcsapatnak, hiszen a madridi metrósín nyomtávolsága pontosan megegyezett az F1-es autó nyomtávjával, vagyis emiatt nem igényelt extra átalakítást az autó.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Fontos volt, hogy a kerekeket a lehető legkönnyebbre tervezzék, máskülönben az autóban tett volna kárt a síneken való száguldás. Az éles bevetés előtt még egy gokartból kialakított tesztmodell is készült annak ellenőrzésére, hogy minden úgy működik-e, ahogy eltervezték.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Az F1-es mutatványhoz nem kellett megbolygatni a madridi metró menetrendjét, hiszen a csapat éjszaka látott munkához, amikor a szerelvények egyébként is pihentek. Az autó vezetésének feladata az osztrák Patrick Friesachernek jutott, aki 2005-ben egy fél szezonon át versenyzett az F1-ben a Minardival, jelenleg pedig 45 évesen a Red Bull alkalmazásában áll és utcai parádékon, valamint a hasonló extrém kísérletek során vezeti az autót.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>A kísérlet sikerrel járt, Friesacher kezei alatt ezúttal föld alatti alagutakat hódított meg a Red Bull.
