Azonban az FIA szabályai miatt Ticktum még nem szerezheti meg a „szuper liszenszet” és még a Hungarorinen sem tesztelhetett a Red Bullal.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>„Hogyan akarjuk így azt elérni, hogy a fiatal tehetségek a Forma 1-be kerüljenek?” – panaszkodott Dr. Helmut Marko.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Egyes hírforrások szerint Ticktum részt vehet majd az Abu-Dzabiban rendezett teszten. A brit pilóta nem tagadja, hogy szívesen versenyezne a Forma-1-ben, akár már 2019-től.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>„Jelenleg a Formula 3-ban versenyzek, így még nem válaszolhatok erre a kérdésre” – mondta Ticktum. „Szeretnék válaszolni, de nem lehet. Még semmi sem dőlt el a jövőmmel kapcsolatban. Természetesen jó dolog lenne a Forma-1-ben versenyezni, de jelenleg a Forma 3-ban versenyzek és még rengeteg futam van előttünk.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>A másik esélyes a Torro Rosso ülésére az a Lando Norris, aki idén a Formula 2-es bajnokságban szerepel.
