A programot teljes egészében az olasz gyártó határozta meg, azaz a Ferrari a korábbi, 2023-as autóval zajló tesztekkel ellentétben ezúttal nem tudott érdemben hozzájárulni a hétszeres világbajnok akklimatizációjához – legalábbis az SF-24-essel, Barcelonába is elvitték ugyanis a 2023-as modellt, amellyel Hamilton a héten is körözött. Hamilton így leginkább a Ferrari erőforrását, pilótafülkéjét és a különböző folyamatokat szokhatta tovább, ami természetesen a semminél több, de nem ugyanaz, mintha megkötések nélkül próbálhatta volna ki a 2024-es autót.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>A köridőkből tehát már csak ezért sem érdemes kiindulni, na meg azért sem, mert tavaly júniusban teljesen más hőmérsékleti értékek mellett rendezték a Spanyol Nagydíjat. A 2026-os autók ezen kívül már aktív aerodinamikával lesznek felvértezve, azaz az egyenesekben csökken majd a légellenállás, a kanyarokban pedig nő a leszorítóerő. A jövőre várható tempó így Nikolasz Tombazisz, az FIA együléses bizottságának vezetője szerint hasonló lesz, mint a jelenlegi.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Az egyetlen érdekes összehasonlítást a teszten ezért aztán Leclerc és Hamilton összevetése szolgáltathatta volna, hiszen ők legalább egyforma autóval köröztek. Ezért is furcsa, hogy míg az első napon a hétszeres világbajnok 0,130 másodperccel gyorsabb legjobbat (1:15,930) ért el a monacóinál, addig Leclerc a második napon 1:14,971-et repesztve 1,8 másodpercet az ekkor csak 1:16,759-et autózó britnek. Ám sajnos mivel a három legkeményebb (C1, C2, C3) 2026-os keveréket tesztelő Pirelli még azt sem árulta el, hogy melyik keveréken érték el a versenyzők a legjobbjukat (nem beszélve a napszakról és egyéb beállításokról), ebből sem érdemes
