Ezt a wokingiak vezérkara 1,5 év után megunta és Ricciardo helyére le is igazolták a honfitársát, Oscar Piastrit.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Most, hogy ilyen helyzetbe került a 8-szoros futamgyőztes, megpróbálja a létező legjobbat kihozni ebből az időszakból és Fernando Alonso útját járná be. A spanyol még 2018-ban hagyta ott a Forma-1-et, hogy számos másik szériában (IndyCar, WEC és Dakar) is megmérettethesse magát.
