Számomra már világos volt, hogy Maxot akarom az autómba, és versenyzőnek, nem tesztpilótának.”\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Ez 2015-ben aztán meg is történt, Verstappen bemutatkozhatott a Forma-1-ben Carlos Sainz csapattársaként. Sokan kritizálták ezt akkor, hiszen az akkor 17 éves srác mégis mit keres a királykategóriában? Akkoriban a limburgi születésű pilótának még közúti jogosítványa sem volt.
