Vestinek emiatt még vissza is kellett fognia magát, míg Hughes feljött a második helyre.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Vesti nyakára megérkezett Pourchaire, de meg tudta tartani negyedik helyét és üldözőbe vette Lawsont.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Az ötödik körben sikerült két Jenzeres csapattársnak, Malvestitinek és Williamsnek összeütköznie. Előbbi meg is forgott, végül mindkettőjük versenye véget ért.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>A 8. körre teljesen egymás nyakára került a Lawson-Vesti-Pourchaire trió. A kétszeres futamgyőztes Lawson azonban kiválóan védekezett. Vesti pedig olyannyira előre figyelt, hogy Pourchaire kis híján meg is előzte, egy ideig fej-fej mellett haladtak, de végül nem lett belőle előzés. Lett azonban másból, ugyanis lesipuskásként Beckmann viszont megelőzte Pourchaire-t.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Vestinek ráadásul belengették a fekete-fehér zászlót is, amiért a védekezés közepette többször is irányt váltott az egyenesben.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Ezt követően Vesti tovább üldözte Lawsont, és ő is volt ekkor a leggyorsabb a mezőnyben.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Pourchaire-re Viscaal is megérkezett, mire előbbi el is fékezte magát, Viscaal pedig feljött a 6. helyre.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Mindeközben Lawson is megérkezett Hughesra.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>A 18. körben Pourchaire visszaelőzte Viscaalt, sőt még Piastri is el tudott menni mellette. Ez után Pourchaire és Piastri kezdett csatába, de a nyomukban maradt Viscaal is.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>A 20. körben, a leintés előtt nem sokkal Fernandez Nanninit előzte, de összeakadtak és mindketten a kavicságyban végezték.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>A futamot végül Sargeant nyerte Hughes, és Lawson előtt. A további sorrend: Vesti, Beckmann, Pourchaire, Piastri Viscaal.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>David Schumacher 15. lett, Fittipaldi 17., Flörsch
