Végül a Tim – Timár páros dobogóra állhatott a Rallye2 bajnokság harmadik futamán, bár az utolsó pillanatban autót kellett találniuk, hogy rajthoz állhassanak.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Az egri győzelem és a miskolci kiesés után a bajnoki tabella második helyén várta a folytatást a Tim Gábor – Timár Tamás kettős. Az Opel Adam R2-ben Miskolcon felrobbant a motor, így egy teljesen új erőforrás után kellett néznie a csapatnak, ám ez nem készült el időben. A JG2-Racing így a verseny előtti napon meghozta a döntést, egy bérelhető autó után kell nézni. Így esett a választás a Ford Fiesta R2-re, mely közel azonos teljesítménnyel bírt mint elődje.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Azonban tesztre és felkészülésre már nem maradt idő, így Tim az első gyorsasági szakaszon kezdte meg az ismerkedés az M-Sport technikájával. A Rallye2 mezőnyének csak hat szakasz volt a táv Székesfehérváron, így sokat számított, ki tud az első méterektől a határon menni.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Timék az utolsó három szakaszra tudták felvenni a tempót, és a 13. helyről fokozatosan léptek előre. Az 5. és 6. szakaszon is abszolút második időt autóztak, kategóriájukban pedig a leggyorsabbak voltak.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>A célba az abszolút ötödik helyen érkeztek, kategóriájukban pedig 0,1 mp-el maradtak el a második helytől.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>„Egyrészt hatalmas csalódás, hogy nem a saját autóval álltunk rajthoz, úgy hiszem, azzal a győzelemre lett volna esélyünk. De fantasztikus lehetőség is volt, hogy kipróbálhattam egy másik top technikát, a Fordot! Köszönöm ezt a csapatnak! Az autó nagyon más volt, mint amiket megismertem eddig, 1 literes, három hengeres turbós motor. Nagyon furcsa, de látható, erre halad a világ, és el kell ismerni, nagyon gyors autó. Én azért jobban szeretem az üvöltő szívó motort. De az ötödik hellyel elégedett vagyok, a kategóriánkban pedig dobogóra álltunk.
