Az osztrák üzletember hatalmas birodalmat épített fel, amely nagy hatással volt a modern auto- és motorsport életre, kiemelten a Forma-1-re is.
Nem meglepő tehát, hogy szinte valamennyi szereplő megemlékezett róla a közösségi médiában.

Dietrich Mateschitz was a titan of the business world, but at his heart always and simply a huge race fan. First backed a driver in 89 with countryman Gerhard Berger. Entered as a sponsor in 95. Established 2 teams. Launched countless careers. Changed the sport forever. RIP
